✨ What You’ll Be Doing:
- To proactively develop a suite of policies, procedures and supporting documents to aid and support the Income Generation department.
- To keep up to date with compliance requirements and regulations that affect the department
- To be an active member of the Quality Governance function and wider Charity team, working collaboratively with income generating colleagues to understand their fundraising plans and provide guidance from planning stage onwards on any compliance elements of their activities.
- To work in collaboration with Volunteers, their staff Key Contacts and our Volunteering Hub to understand and deliver training requirements to our registered fundraising volunteers to aid compliance.
- Working with Senior Fundraising colleagues to provide support and guidance to our supporters that equips them with the information to conduct their own fundraising in an appropriate way whilst enhancing their supporter experience.
🚀 What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a fundraising role and familiarity with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice
- Knowledge and skills around encouraging and enabling compliance
- Experience of creating or using systems and processes including forms, templates and checklists to work efficiently and ensure nothing is missed
- A methodical thinker, with the ability to create simple processes for what might initially appear to be complex requirements
- Excellent influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, volunteers and supporters
- A willingness to learn new things and adapt thinking as fundraising practices evolve (for example, becoming more digital)
