Please note, this is a 3 month fixed term contract initially, with potential to increase to 6 months.

We are seeking an experienced IT Architect to lead the documentation of our current (“as-is”) IT landscape.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct a full review of the existing IT landscape, including infrastructure, applications, databases, and platforms.
  • Identify and document all system integrations, APIs, data exchanges, and dependencies.
  • Develop detailed “as-is” architecture diagrams showing systems, integrations, and data flows.
  • Work across each department and technical teams to validate accuracy of mapping.
  • Highlight current architecture pain points, risks, and technical debt as observed.
  • Create a consolidated repository of architecture artefacts for future reference.
  • Provide recommendations on documentation standards and governance for ongoing architecture maintenance.

🚀 What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrable evidence of behaviour in line with the core values of TAAS throughout career to date.
  • Experience in non-profit or similar organisational environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
  • Proven experience as an IT Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Solutions Architect.
  • Strong track record in system mapping and integration documentation.
  • Excellent understanding of enterprise IT components (infrastructure, applications, databases, cloud services, networking).
  • Experience in integration technologies (APIs, middleware, data pipelines).
  • Ability to create clear and professional architecture artefacts (diagrams, inventories, documentation).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interviewing skills to gather technical details from various teams.
  • Proficiency with architecture/design tools
