What You’ll Be Doing:

The Manager of Governance & Safeguarding is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, safeguarding, and governance within TAAS.

🚀 What We’re Looking For:

  • The individual must have a professional qualification aligned to Safeguarding, preferably a Registered Healthcare Professional.
  • Demonstrable evidence of behaviour in line with the core values of TAAS throughout career to date.
  • Experience of managing governance and Safeguarding in a similar organisation
  • Collaborative approach to achieving departmental and wider organisational objectives
  • Passion for the work that TAAS does
  • A flexible approach to allow adaptability to the changing needs of the organisation
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding within the UK
  • Ability to influence and engage at all levels
  • Be able to translate the technical aspects of safeguarding into daily working practices across the organisation
  • Proven track record of matrix management with the ability to coach others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems and use a creative approach to overcome issues and challenges
  • Desirable experience of working with volunteers

Compliance Responsibilities

In addition to specific compliance requirements within your area of expertise, you also hold responsibility in your specialism for:

You are expected and encouraged to raise and escalate appropriately any potential breaches or areas for improvement regarding the above.

The role is subject to a Basic DBS check.
