Would you like to be part of the National Childrens Air Ambulance team, playing a vital role during life changing transfers for patients and their families?

A rare opportunity is available to join the National Children’s Air Ambulance (NCAA) as we continue to grow and develop our lifesaving service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Crew Member, you will provide support to specialist neonatal and paediatric clinicians during NCAA transfers, whilst working alongside our amazing team of Pilots and Airdesk Coordinators.

Reporting to the Operations Team Leader for NCAA, you will be based at Retford (Gamston) Airport on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).

You will be the technical expert for the bespoke NCAA interior, stretcher system and incubator, so you can provide support and troubleshoot any issues should they arise. In addition, you will carry out tasks to ensure the aircraft and base is fully operational, ready for tasking.

🚀 What We’re Looking For:

Whilst the Crew Member role is non-clinical and does not involve direct patient care, the role requires a clinical background to understand the importance of working as a multi-disciplinary team, working in a clinical setting, handling medical devices and to support the safe transfer of patients.

Within our current team, we have Crew Members with varied backgrounds from Emergency Care Assistants, Ambulance Technicians, Associate Practitioners and Paramedics!
