“Your Career. Your Impact. Our Mission.”

"I started my TAAS journey as a volunteer in 2014, following a period of ill-health. I was then employed on a bank contract with the Reuse team, before moving onto the Retail team as Retail Operations Coordinator. I was then approached for a 1-day a week role as Bank Retail Data Administrator before applying for my current contracted role as Retail Operations Data Administrator. I am also the EDI Network Chair for the Disabilities group. I feel incredibly privileged to be a part of our Organisation and play a part in the incredible work the charity does. I'd also like to add, the charity have been very supportive with my disability, making allowances when I am having a flare up of my symptoms, and allowing me to work from home where appropriate, which has had a big difference to my confidence and has made me feel valued."

Our Values

At the heart of everything we do are the values that guide our actions, shape our culture, and reflect our commitment to the people and communities we serve. These values define who we are as an organisation and inspire us to act with integrity, purpose, and care in all that we do. They are more than words — they are the foundation of how we work together, make decisions, and strive for lasting impact.

Compassion

We succeed because we care. We care about our patients, our supporters, our partners and our colleagues. We act with dignity, humility, integrity and respect.

Courage

We succeed because we dare. We are bold, pioneering and brave enough to ask questions of ourselves and others while

actions are taken with responsibility.

Creativity

We succeed because we innovate. We recognise that new ideas, big and small, are essential for future growth. We are curious, we embrace change and we rise to the challenge.

Who we are

Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) networks provide a safe, supportive space for colleagues to connect, share experiences and help shape positive change across our organisation. Each network is led by passionate members of staff who champion inclusivity and work together to ensure that every voice is heard and valued. By raising awareness, celebrating diversity and offering peer support, our EDI networks play an important role in fostering a workplace where everyone feels respected, represented and able to thrive.
