"I joined the National Children’s Air Ambulance in March 2025 as an Airdesk Co-ordinator, following experience as a response Police Officer and vehicle breakdown controller. With a strong interest in aviation, I’m pleased to combine my skills and passion in this role. Supporting people in their time of need is important to me, and working on the NCAA airdesk allows me to do just that. From the start I’ve felt part of both the airdesk and the wider TAAS team, seeing everyone work towards shared goals. I’ve also enjoyed meeting colleagues across the charity, from visiting one of our shops to welcoming visitors to the airdesk to learn more about what we do."

Our Values

At the heart of everything we do are the values that guide our actions, shape our culture, and reflect our commitment to the people and communities we serve. These values define who we are as an organisation and inspire us to act with integrity, purpose, and care in all that we do. They are more than words — they are the foundation of how we work together, make decisions, and strive for lasting impact.

Compassion

We succeed because we care. We care about our patients, our supporters, our partners and our colleagues. We act with dignity, humility, integrity and respect.

Courage

We succeed because we dare. We are bold, pioneering and brave enough to ask questions of ourselves and others while

actions are taken with responsibility.

Creativity

We succeed because we innovate. We recognise that new ideas, big and small, are essential for future growth. We are curious, we embrace change and we rise to the challenge.

Culture and EDI

Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) networks provide a safe, supportive space for colleagues to connect, share experiences and help shape positive change across our organisation. Each network is led by passionate members of staff who champion inclusivity and work together to ensure that every voice is heard and valued. By raising awareness, celebrating diversity and offering peer support, our EDI networks play an important role in fostering a workplace where everyone feels respected, represented and able to thrive.
